Name: Kinsley
Gender: Female

Interests: ABOUT ME: I spend each day working towards the goal of becoming Christ-like. Every day has its ups and downs, but the awesome part is that with every sunrise, I wake up and keep on trying. PS. I Go to University of Oklahoma (last year I went to Ozark Christian College) and I'm majoring in International Studies and Public Affairs and Administration (Political Science). This will be my Junior Year, but I think I'll pretty much just go to school for the next ten years! I keep myself pretty busy, and though sometimes I joke about being single, for the most part you won't find me complaining, because I am in NO HURRY! (Too much drama! haha) I love watching movies (Gladiator, Armagedon, My Best Friend's Wedding, How to lose a guy in 10 days, Les Visiteurs, La Vita Belle, Super Troopers, Tommy Boy;are some of my favs.) and Reading (Redeeming Love; Pursuit of God; White Oleander; Secret Life of Bees;) Shopping (When I have money and can fit into my clothes!) Playing Basketball, Try
Expertise: "And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can't and life can't. The angels can's, and the deomns can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39

PRAYER REQUEST:

Please pray for the family of my friend THOMAS STEALY..I just found out he died last night in a car wreck, and Im not sure whether He ever accepted Christ or not. We had a class together my senior year, and I helped Him with a lot of his hmwk, and Gina(teacher) and I always stayed on Him to get his work done and stuff. This is a pic after he impressed me because he braided my hair.

This makes me realize what I'm MOST thankful for.  All things lose any type of worth, except the fact of who Christ was, is, and always will be.  Remember, it doesn't matter how old you are or what you've accomplished.  Everyday is valuable, and every day could be your last day. Find hope in who Christ is, and understand that it's not good to put if off for another day. LIfe is short and valuable, and only worth living because of who Christ is.

Marcus Aurelius, a first-century Roman emperor, wrote that the most important thing a man can choose is how he thinks.

"But our calling here is to fight for JOY- ours and the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ. The Aim is that God's worth-his infinite desirability be known and prized and praised in all the world.... The intensity of our pleasure and our desire bear witness of his worth to the world, especially when we are freed by this pleasure to leave the pleasures of this world for a life of sacrifice and love for others." J Piper

"I was astonished that although I now loved you... I did not persist in enjoyment of my God. Your beauty drew me to you, but soon I was dragged away from you by my own weight and in dismay I plunged again into the things of this world...as though I had sensed the fragrance of the fare but was not yet able to eat it." Augustine.
